The LTB Report. New Years with Nila.

Happy Friday! January sure is flying by, but before it goes, I have a fun interview with one of the most beautiful people I know, both inside and out, Mrs. Nila Grier. I was lucky to meet this beaming ray of light at Pure Barre as she became a regular in my classes. While these days, we don't get to LTB together much, I often run into her coming in and out of Clean Juice or picking up the best vegan cookies at Whole Foods. Of course, in true Nila fashion, she always has a smile beaming across her face and a big hug ready no matter how busy she is. And that she certainly is! Being step-mom to internet sensations {to say the very least!} Nash and Hayes Grier and college football cutie Will Grier, really keeps her on her toes as she regularly jet-sets back and forth to the west coast. Yet, she remains completely unchanged by the fame. Even with a stout following on Instagram, Nila remains authentic and an incredible role model for all of her impressionable young followers. She's definitely someone to look to for inspiration. This girl lives balance... while eating right and exercising are important to her, she also makes sure to live a little and enjoy every second of this sweet life. Everyone, meet Nila.

The LTB Report... Happy Holidays Edition

With the Christmas season upon us... only 9 more days!!!... it seemed only fitting to interview one of Santa himself's hardworking elves. This cheerful beauty's giving nature spans far beyond just the holiday season however. She's bringing smiles, joy, warm meals, clothes and toys to those less fortunate throughout the entire year. In fact, this remarkable mother of three, loving wifey and hardcore LTB-er has one main goal - to leave people happier than they were when she found them. And that she certainly does. You'll see her bubbly personality and heart of pure gold shine through below in this holiday edition of The Live Taste Beam Report and be immediately inspired to spread some holiday cheer and goodwill yourself. Oh, and did I mention, this wonder woman also lost 85 lbs in a year and a half but gained so much more along the way in the form of self-love, confidence and an oblique {<--- her words! hahaha}. Everyone, meet Molly Gregory.

LTB "Soothie"

If you feel anything like I'm feeling, this Pure Madness Challenge has you a bit sore. All over. So instead of reaching for the Tylenol {simply because it's too painful to reach my arm that high after all the bend stretch lift hold torture!}, let's take a few steps to the kitchen and gather some of nature's most powerful anti-inflammatories to ease the pain while our muscles transform into the long, lean, sculpted machines they're destined to be.

Pure Madness Midpoint & Motivation

We've made it halfway through the Pure Madness challenge! The hump day, day 15, numero quince. Yay for us! The goal is to complete at least 20 classes in 31 days. I've got 10 in so far so I'm halfway there at the halfway point which isn't half bad, right?! But oh em gee, I'm feeling it. Couple that with feeling extra tired lately because my sweet baby girl has suddenly decided she wants girl time at 3am, my motivation for getting to the barre at 6am every day even on my days off {especially on my days off} is waning. Sooo, to put more oomph! under my {sore, but mostly lifted} seat, I've compiled a list of motivational tidbits to help even the purest of Pure Barre Addicts set their {my} tired eyes back on the prize. Leading into my number one motivational factor:
