Who doesn’t see the changing leaves, feel the “I need my leg warmers” chill of the morning and not think of the return of fall’s favorite latte? It’s so popular, Starbucks rolled it out a week earlier this year and created @TheRealPSL twitter handle to send obsessed fans on a scavenger hunt to find clues to get their favorite beverage before it was officially released in stores. Starbucks also changed the PSL recipe to include, get this, real pumpkin. I know, right? Crazy. While the mega-chain’s coffee is not considered a health food, adding in real food while eliminating caramel coloring is definitely a step in the right direction.
