Best of the Best Smoothie Bowls

You all probably know from my insta pics and recent post that I pretty much love eating thick, creamy smoothies with a spoon from a bowl {or a big cup} and making a mindful meal out of them. Doing so makes me slow down, chew longer and avoid a tummy ache from slurping the deliciousness down too quickly which tends to happen when I make one in a glass on the go. Since I have heard from many of you {keep the feedback coming... I LOVE it!} that you'd like a post with more smoothie bowl recipes to get you started, I have gathered my favorite smoothie bowl recipes from my favorite bloggers around the web to share with you! There's something for everyone, whether low sugar, paleo, banana or nut free is your thing, you'll find a delicious combo of fruits, veggies and protein to infuse your body with only the good stuff. Here we go...

Smoothie bowls are a delicious and beautiful way to start the day. So show your body some love and make one of these today!

PB&Julie's Mango Berry Acai Bowl: Of course I start out with my own recipe! It's delicious, full of health and beauty-promoting antioxidants and is total eye candy. When you take time to plate your food beautifully, you're slowing down and showing your body some love and that you're worth taking time for. I encourage you all to play with your food, lighten up around it and think how every ingredient you thoughtfully add is contributing to your health, beauty and vibrancy.

This beauty from Nutrition Stripped sneaks in zucchini to lower the sugar but keep the creaminess. Well played.

Blue Morning Smoothie Bowl, Nutrition Stripped: This smoothie bowl reduces the sugar content but remains creamy by sneaking in a frozen zucchini! And it contains spirulina... my favorite superfood and one of the healthiest foods on the planet.

Chocolate-Mint Green Smoothie Bowl, Hello Natural: A sugar-free treat that will keep you energized with healthy fats from the avocado and nutrient dense kale. Not a banana or fruit to be seen, so make sure to freeze some avocado slices and make almond/coconut milk ice cubes to turn this bowl into a low-glycemic smooth and creamy treat.

The Super LOVE Smoothie Bowl, Radiantly Raw: I love Summer and her blog. She is a trained raw foods chef and has recently opened a beautiful juice shop in Sedona. Following her journey on Insta has been so inspiring. This smoothie bowl has so much goodness in it and I love how Summer gives options to make it a low-glycemic treat as well when you're watching your sugar intake.

Mango Banana Smoothie Bowl, The Chalkboard: Vibrant yellow and only 3 ingredients, this sweet and thick smoothie bowl would be amazing with a greens powder {like ALOHA Daily Good Greens!***} swirled in to amp up the nutrition factor. The Chalkboard magazine website is one that I follow on the regular!
